Not Just A Walk in the Park: Complex Layers of Integrating Nature into Play Therapy Practice

Updated: Mar 8, 2022

The second chapter in Nature-based Play & Expressive Therapies titled Not Just A Walk in the Park: Complex Layers of Integrating Nature into Play Therapy Practice was written by Judi Parson and Megan Ellard. The authors co-wrote this chapter from a shared passion for working with children and families in nature, having both seen first-hand the amazing therapeutic benefits. Through this chapter, they hope to encourage other mental health clinicians to include nature within their practice so that more people can experience the magical healing properties of working with nature.
